Marco Di Mauro was born into a Spanish-Italian family in Reggio Emilia in Italy. Since a child, he has been passionate about music. His father is Italian and his mother Spanish. It is because of this that he lived in Italy, Spain and Latin America throughout his life. At the age of six, he started singing at school and had a clear idea about his future: "When I grow up, I want to become a singer!" he said to his parents.
His maternal grandmother was a soprano and he was quickly recognized as having a natural talent for music. Marco graduated from philosophy, art and literature and uses the skills he learned to be a good writer when he writes his songs. In addition, he took singing lessons. His teachers saw in him a "great" poet with rock star style".
He auditioned for a musical group called "Los Caracoles", and was chosen as the new singer. Since then and for the next 5 years, the group performed in many clubs and festivals in Italy and Spain. At 19, he moved to Mexico between Playa del Carmen and Cancun. The following year, he decided to devote his time to help many children and their families in Mexico, working as a volunteer with an NGO in the region of Chiapas.
In July 2007 he met Rosa Lagarrigue, the manager of artists such as Alejandro Sanz, Miguel Bosé. He signed a management contract a few months later with her. In 2009, he released his first album named "Marco Di Mauro". The first single from the album is the song "Nada de Nada", the song rapidly ranked in the Latin America charts. "Mi Vida sabe a ti" is his second single of the album.
